I was very surprised (but also excited) to learn that the film Snow White and The Huntsman was partnering up with Benefit for a collection. The film looks dark and enchanting so Benefit, with their vintage motif, didn't seem like an appropriate partner for the film starring Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron. And then I come to find out the collection is really just already existing Benefit products repackaged in a box featuring Stewarts face. FAIL.
Just before this disappointment I was sad to learn that Estee Lauder's Mad Men collection was really just a drab pink creme blush and matching lipstick that don't look anything like the colors used in the campaign's advertising photo.
Hopefully the upcoming Andy Warhol inspired collection from NARS doesn't follow suit.
